SurfAid International Job Vacancy: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, Nias - Notrh Sumatera

SurfAid International is anon-profit organization working towards healthy and resilientcommunities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. We havecommunity based health and nutrition programs in Nias and Mentawai.Recently we also started a livelihoods/economic development component to ensurefood security and maintain the community’s improved nutrition status.

We are looking for a driven, multi-tasking,and creativeperson with a great attention to details, to join our team in Nias.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
You will work with our program teams to ensure that the program planning isimplemented in line with the baseline, mid-term and end-line monitoringframeworks. The ideal candidate will help to implement program based on “fitfor purpose”. This position will be based in SurfAid Office in Gunung Sitoli,the capital of Nias, with travels to the program areas in the villages asnecessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in: statistics, economy, mathor public health. 
  • At least 3 years work experience in M&E, especially in Mother &Child Health, Water Sanitation Program or other behaviour change programs
  • Experience with practical field implementation of Mother & ChildHealth program, Water Sanitation or other behaviour change programs
  • Preferably had advanced training in M&E
  • Knowledge for programme design or program cycle
  • Good understanding in community development principles
  • Some familiarities with livelihoods or economic development programswill be an advantage
  • Good English and Bahasa Indonesia for formal reporting
