Plan International Job Vacancy: GIRL Project Supervisor - Semarang, Central Java

Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is presently implementing its country strategic 4 (CS 4) covering fiscal year 2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been defined as “to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organisation’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community,sub district, district to national, regional and international levels.

Due to organizational LEARN Project,  Plan International Indonesia is looking for dynamic staff  to be based in Central Java for the position:

GIRL Project Supervisor – Semarang Based

The position holder will not directly supervise anyone and collaborate. The total annual budget that S/he supervises for implementation will be around 50,000 USD. She/He also represents Yayasan PlanInternational Indonesia in the concerned network related to implementation of the project at district and provincial level and with donor agencies.

Key Result Area (KRA) 1:  Support NPM to develop implementation plan of all projects with detail activities, operational processes, and budget for field level implementation.
Indicator for success: Project detail implementation plan (DIP) is developed and approved before implementation starts;  Annual plans and budgets of all projects are finalized and approved; necessary revision is done and approval ensured.

KRA 2: Support M&E specialist to develop M&E framework to support comprehensive and quality monitoring of the project performance following corporate guide line of Plan and donor agencies.
Indicators for success: Approved M&E framework in place before implementation starts. Project Monitoring Implementation System is developed/established to generate information for monitoring and management decisions

KRA 3: Implement all activities in the Detailed Implementation Plan and achieve agreed burn rate of the project budget.
Indicators for success:At least 95% burn rate of annual project budget is ensured in a consistent manner throughout the year

KRA 4: Establishes quality donor reporting system for projects.
Indicators for success: Project reports to donors meets quality standards in terms of language and fed with appropriate field information Project reports meets donors deadlines and compliance.

KRA 5: Establishes organizational learning from project experience/ evaluation, contribute to the other projects and programs and to the development of project concept paper and assisting in identifying potential funding source to support achieving organizational target for income.
Indicators for success: Organizational learning protocol for projects is established by specifying the roles and responsibility and deliverables of the project team; learning from the project is incorporated in the specified decision making process for new project or strategy # of project concept notes prepared, finalized and awarded with the input of the incumbent.

KRA 6: Ensuring active, reliable and good communication practices. Applied internal effective communication strategy between internal project staff and LEARN Program team, partners organization, Plan Regional Office and related NOs.
Indicators for success: Develop internal communication strategy for project staff, LEARN Program Team, Partners Organization, Plan Regional Office and Related NosEnsure the communication strategy is being applied effectively

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:
Education: Bachelor degree in business, entrepreneurship, management or other relevant field with minimum 1 year experience in any development works with demonstrated in project managerial skill and networking skill. Has at least 1 year experience in the youth entrepreneurship issues Strong skills in advocacy, teamwork, community development and developing learning in area of expertise. University degree in public health and/or social sciences are preferable Computer literate.. Good English Skills in verbal, writing & reporting
