DAI Global Health is seeking qualified candidates
for an anticipated USAID-funded Tuberculosis Private Sector (TBPS) Activity to
increase the number of care-seeking clients in the private sector who are
correctly diagnosed, notified, and have successfully completed tuberculosis (TB)
treatment.
USAID’s support will facilitate and enable the
development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that strengthen the private primary healthcare level
to appropriately provide the continuum of TB care to care-seeking clients while reducing the burden and
costs to the GOI at the secondary care level. The technical approach is
anticipated to change private providers’ and patients’ behaviors by achieving
the following three objectives:
- Increase private sector access to TB diagnosis and facilitate TB patient notifications;
- Increase the TB treatment success rate in the private sector; and
- Increase uptake of improved private provider engagement mechanisms in non-project districts.
