DAI Global Health is seeking qualified candidates
for an anticipated USAID-funded Tuberculosis Private Sector (TBPS) Activity to
increase the number of care-seeking clients in the private sector who are
correctly diagnosed, notified, and have successfully completed tuberculosis (TB)
treatment.
USAID’s support will facilitate and enable the
development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that strengthen the private primary healthcare level
to appropriately provide the continuum of TB care to care-seeking clients while reducing the burden and
costs to the GOI at the secondary care level. The technical approach is
anticipated to change private providers’ and patients’ behaviors by achieving
the following three objectives:
- Increase private sector access to TB diagnosis and facilitate TB patient notifications;
- Increase the TB treatment success rate in the private sector; and
- Increase uptake of improved private provider engagement mechanisms in non-project districts.
DAI is seeking candidates for:
Monitoring,
Evaluation, Research, Learning and Communications (MERLC) Director - The MERLC Director must have experience designing and implementing
monitoring and evaluation systems for complex donor funded health projects, and
in communicating outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels (both directly,
and via the creation of clear and compelling communication materials). He/She
must have experience in designing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation
system that can capture information at the activity level as well as at the
individual district level. The MERLC Director must also have experience in
leading processes to review and analyze global and local evidence to inform the
establishment of in-country priorities for program and policy action. He/She
must have exceptional communications and presentation skills, fluency in the
English language, strong teamwork and effective cross-cultural interpersonal
skills. The MERLC Director must also have significant experience working in
middle income (lower and/or upper middle income) countries.
