Mass Media and Digital Campaign Consultant
National Nutrition Communication Campaign

Introduction — Through the National Nutrition Communications Campaign (NNCC), Millennium Challenge Account –Indonesia (MCA-I) is supporting the Ministry of Health in Indonesia to raise awareness of and promote behavior change to prevent and reduce stunting. This campaign is focusing in eleven districts in South Sumatera, West Kalimantan, and Central Kalimantan, while the mass media campaign has a national coverage.
For the second phase of the implementation, between June 2017 and February 2018, the NNCC is planning to develop and produce a series of campaign materials for its various channels and platform, including television, radio, print, digital and IPC tools. As the campaign runs on a very tight schedule, and IMA’s BCC specialist will also focus on other aspects of the campaign purpose, there is a need to hire a mass media and digital campaign advisor to provide support especially to the BCC specialist and the whole NNCC team in general. The consultant will work closely with the BCC specialist and report to IMA’s team leader.
IMA World Health (IMA) is a faith–based technical public health organization that builds healthier communities by collaborating with key partners to serve vulnerable people around the world. IMA has been commissioned by MCA-Indonesia to design, implement and monitor the NNCC. The NNCC implementation was initiated in November 2015 and will end in March 2018.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, and creative guidance to the NNCC media and creative partners:
- Ensure appropriate and cost–effective media purchases by the media specialist agency.
- Ensure adherence to development and placement of media products as per partner contract.
- Ensure creative quality of campaign products, across various media and platforms.
- Ensure an integrated, multi-channel approach of the NNCC to achieve the above objectives, including consistent adherence of the NNCC branding and design.
- Supervising the NNCC media, and advertising partners as well as IMA’s digital campaign team to ensure that the NNCC digital assets (Facebook, website, Twitter, and Instagram) are utilized optimally and in an integrated manner to create the desired impact of the campaign.
- Participate in development of all project reports/deliverables, including research
- Ensure regular and effective communication with IMA’s BCC specialist and team leader.
- Participate in meetings with MCA–Indonesia and government, and other project partners as requested by the Team Leader.
- Quality IEC materials including but not limited to TV spots, radio spots, print materials, IPC tools, digital materials (including banner ads, FB ads), infographics and other materials that will be produced by the NNCC
- Monthly report.
Period of Performance: The position of Mass Media and Digital Campaign Consultant is on contract basis for a period of July 03, 2017 – December 31, 2017.
