Save
the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to
build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and
self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia
namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik. To this end, Yayasan
has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which
focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in
strategic middle income countries.
Currently Save the Children’s programs in
Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in
eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals,
and programming in Child Protection, Education,
Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian
Response.
We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
AREA HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR – 2 positions
- 1 personnel based in Bandung, code: AHRC-B
- 1 personnel based in Kupang, code: AHRC-K
ROLE PURPOSE:
The
Area Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will provide appropriate, timely
and professional human resources management service at the area office.
They will ensure that recruitment process for
both employees and individual consultants are done properly in line
with prevailing procedures and provide an effective way to recruit
employees with the right skills at the right time. They will ensure all
employees and individual consultants have relevant
and valid contractual documents, ensure induction for all new hired
staff, advise managers on staff training plans, facilitate the
performance management process, grievance and disciplinary issues and
support socialisation of HR policy and local labour regulations.
They will be responsible for government liaison on HR issues at local
level and will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of HR
processes and systems in partnership with the HR department at Jakarta.
The
post holder will support the HR Director to contribute to global KPIs
as follows: Child Safeguarding KPI and ESMT Resignation Turn-over Rate;
Operations delivery; Awards management; Risks
and financial management; Global Management Indicators, and in
particular Child Safeguarding Training, Security PSS Training and Fraud
Awareness Training.
The post holder will also be assigned as Child Safeguarding Focal Point for the area office.
In
the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be
expected to work outside the normal job description and be able to vary
working hours accordingly.
