hope for brighter futures worldwide. Save the Children’s programs in
Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We currently
work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local
professionals, and programming in Child Protection,
Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and
Humanitarian Response.

ROLE PURPOSE:
MNCH
Specialist will oversee quality project implementation by providing
technical assistance in health programming to ensure MNCH program in
West Java (SELARAS) and Indonesia in general achieve
project Intermediate Results:
- IR 1: Improved hygiene and hand washing standards in public health facilities
- IR 2: Improved provision of maternal and newborn care at community level
- IR 3: Increased demand for practices and services on maternal and newborn health at household level.
- IR4: Improved policy and resource allocation environment to support health, hygiene and hand washing practices and services for newborn survival
The
MNCH Specialist is responsible for ensuring high quality of Save the
Children’s health, nutrition and hygiene implementation by ensuring best
utilization
of health technical knowledge, designing and applying standardized
trainings, lesson learned and best practices in the area of community
health, nutrition, as well as health advocacy. The role will provide
technical assistance for project staff, partners,
health providers, community, and other key stakeholders in Save the
Children’s program in West Java specifically, as well as national level
program.
