programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We 
currently work in eleven provinces, have staff of
 approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child 
Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, 
and Humanitarian Response.

ROLE PURPOSE: 
Save the Children in Indonesia 
has made significant progress on Education program at the national level
 and in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) province for improving access and 
quality of education. 
 Currently Save the Children implementing Creating Early Readers for 
Academic Success (CERDAS) Project aims at improve learning environments,
 strengthen educator capacity, and mobilise communities and the district
 and provincial governments.
The project will complement 
ongoing Save the Children education projects, build evidence, and 
leverage Government of Indonesia contributions.
CERDAS is a four year project starting from June 1st 2015 until May 31st
 2019 under Education thematic project with the main focus on Early 
Childhood Education and Basic Education.
 The project will reach 12,600 children in 60 Primary Schools and 1,800 
children in 60 ECE centres. We will build the capacities of 60 school 
principals and 60 ECE managers, 30 school supervisors, 240 school 
committee members, 600 primary school and 180 ECE
 teachers and 240 youth volunteers. CERDAS will work with 9,600 parents,
 240 ECE committee members, and will build the capacities of 20 local 
government officials to plan and deliver quality education services. 
This number will include provincial officials,
 thus creating the basis for future scale up of the model, including 
reaching all ECE and early grade-aged children in NTT province.
The Monitoring Evaluation and 
Learning Officer  will be responsible for overall monitoring and 
evaluation of both project with ensuring
proper
 beneficiary database, design and implementation of the monitoring and 
evaluation system including disseminating results to stakeholders, while
 promoting involvement of children and
 community in monitoring activities. S/he will be responsible for the 
M&E development and implementation of all projects activities and 
ensuring that all M&E strategies and activities are implemented.
