Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Job Vacancy: Project Administrator - Liwa, Lampung

Company  The foundation Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung designs and manages sustainable agricultural development projects worldwide. With over twenty years of experience in project design, implementation and management, the foundation contributes to improving the living conditions of smallholder coffee and cocoa farmers through a business approach to sustainable development.

Financed by private and public donors, HRNS has started implementing a 5-year program (2 projects) to promote sustainable smallholder Robusta coffee production in OKU Selatan, Southern Sumatra. These projects aims to provide farmer training on good agricultural practices, product quality and marketing, farmer organizational development, etc.

The second phase of the program will include additional topics such as access to finance, gender mainstreaming, coffee & climate, alternative income and biodiversity. These components will be integrated where possible and have to contribute to the overall goal of empowering the farmers in these communities.

Job Opportunity  The project is looking for a Project Administrator who will be based in Liwa at the border of West Lampung and OKU Selatan South Sumatra, in charge of the following tasks:

Main responsibilities  1. Manage the daily Project accounting and petty cash and timely preparation of monthly accounting reports. This includes consolidation and verification of correctness of accounting documents/vouchers (including timesheets, monthly reports, invoices, travel claims, etc.) sent by Project staff, Project Partners and Consultants.  2. Improve Standard Operating Procedures on finance and administration where needed.  3. Handle all office and project related legal aspects such as taxes, insurance, office and asset registration, etc. Consult with legal advisors, project manager and country director where needed. 4. Office communication by telephone, fax, mail and regular post. 
Secondary tasks  5. Maintenance of databases on office contacts, fixed assets, suppliers, clients, partners, etc. 6. Assistance with the organization of local and international workshops and conferences including room rent, logistics, handling of visa applications for visitors, organization of accommodation and transport. 7. Translate documents, reports, meeting minutes, etc. and translate verbally during meetings, donor visits and workshops upon request.

Duration of Assignment: 2 years’ contract

Profile  Experience:  - Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience; demonstrated practical expertise in handling petty cash and making accounting reports. - Solid human resource management skills with an ability to motivate team members to deliver in time, and to accurately report on finance and admin, oversee and control these operations.  - Team player and ability to motivate team members to deliver accurate reports in time.

Required:  - Indonesian candidate with a university degree in accounting or related subjects.  - Self initiative and communication skills; accustomed and willing to work under pressure.  - Proficiency in English (verbal and written); concise and timely reporting skills.  - Advanced proficiency in standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).  - Particular expertise related to accounting is a must. Knowledge on legal aspects is a plus.
