The Micronutrient
Initiative (MI) is an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
dedicated to ensuring that the world’s most vulnerable – especially women and
children in developing countries – get the vitamins and minerals they
need to survive and thrive. With headquarters in Ottawa, Canada MI maintains
regional offices in New Delhi, India and Dakar, Senegal that manages our
country offices in Asia and Africa.
MI is supporting the Government of
Indonesia in implementing a pilot project on weekly IFA supplementation for
school-going adolescent girls in two districts (Cimahi and Purwakarta) in West Java
Province. Currently, the capacity of officials and staffs of the Ministries of
Health, Education and Religion who will be engaged in implementation
particularly the school teachers is limited with regards to effectively
delivering this program. MI proposes to undertake capacity building of key
officials and school teachers for effective planning and implementation of the
pilot project.
In this regard, MI seeks local consultant to
develop the training module in consultation with MI and the concerned ministries.

Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in public health, nutrition or related fields. Post graduate will be an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of public health and development of training and communication materials.
- Competent in written and spoken English.
- Previous experience working with MI is an asset.
