Background
DAI seeks STTA - Community
Based Climate Change Adaptation Data Entry for a 5-year, $19 million USAID funded “Adaptasi
Perubahan Iklim dan Ketangguhan (APIK)” Project. The purpose of APIK is to
support the Government of Indonesia to strengthen climate and disaster
resilience, working in an integrated manner from the national level down to the
community level. APIK will help to mainstream climate change adaptation and
disaster risk reduction into national andsubnational governance frameworks,
build the capacity of local communities and the private sector to address
climate change and weather-related natural hazards, and support the use of
information for climate and disaster risk management among key stakeholders.
The
location for this position is Jakarta,
Indonesia.
Community
Based Climate Change Adaptation Data Entry will report to Community Based Climate Change
Adaptation Advisor.
Objective
At
the subnational level, APIK will work in GOI and USAID priority provinces of
Jawa Timur, Sulawesi Tenggara, and Maluku with a landscape approach that links
all efforts within each focus province. The selection of place is critical to
the success of APIK in fostering socioeconomic, institutional, and landscape
resilience at the subnational level.
Based
on the selected priority landscapes and city/districts, APIK together with
local governments and relevant stakeholders will identify and define the
project work areas at community/village level. The first step in identify the
project work areas is through secondary data analysis in refer to the Provinsi/Kota/Kabupaten/Kecamatan dalam
Angka, and Potensi Desa 2014.
Tasks
To
achieve the proposed objective APIK will employ two STTAs with specific task
for data entry. APIK has gathered all raw data and will provide a standard
template for this task.

Classification
- Strong knowledge and skill on operating Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Preferable who familiar with BPS data, especially PODES data.
