The Micronutrient Initiative Vacancy: The Quality Report System (QRS) Manual Development of the VAS Program - Jakarta

The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to ensuring that the world’s most vurnerables – especially women and children in developing countries – get  the vitamins and minerals they need to survive and thrive. With headquarters in Ottawa, Canada MI maintains regional offices in New Delhi, India and Dakar, Senegal that manages our country offices in Asia and Africa.
In 2014, MI Indonesia has collaborated with Center of Health Research –University of Indonesia and MoH  to develop  the Quality Reporting System (QRS) tool to monitor the accuracy of  data from the Vitamin A Supplementation (VAS ) program at the district, Puskesmas, and Posyandu levels. The QRS tool was adopted by the central MoH as a supervisory tool to assess the VAS program and it has been introduced within the six MI pilot provinces. However, the manual for application of QRS  tools as guidance for health staff are not available, therefore Mi with collaboration with MoH are going to develop  the  Quality Report System (QRS) manual of  the VAS program as guidance for health staff .

In this regard, MI seeks a local consultant to develop  the  Quality Report System (QRS) manual of  the VAS program as guidance for health staff in implementing the QRS application for the VAS program.

Qualifications:
  • Post graduate degree in public health, nutrition, communications or related fields. 
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the field of public health, communications and preferable on behavior change intervention program. 
  • Experience and involved in development of QRS tools for VAS program is highly required. 
  • Competent in written and spoken English. 
  • Previous experience working with MI is an asset.
