SATU LENTERA INDONESIA (YSLI) is looking for a permanent, full – time
Advocacy, Networking and Special Projects Assistant to be based in our
main office in Jakarta.
He/she is will assist Advocacy Coordinator in planning implementation, and/or supervision of all projects pertaining to advocacy, network building, and ministry tours throughout the country, with emphasis on areas that have been identified as hot spots.

Key skills and experience:
- Graduate in Behavioral Science, Public Relations, Law, Management, or another related field.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in management and administration; with basic exposure on theological studies
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Good communication skills both verbal and written, organizational skills, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office
- A committed Christian.

- Cross-culturally sensitive and knows how to build relationships in different cultures.

Job Summary:
The recruitment and selection will take place starting 2nd November, 2015. The starting date of employment to the role will be on 1st December, 2015.
- Assist in liaising with churches, para-church organizations, and individuals for the main purpose of identifying cases of religious incidents and advocacy needs among the Institutional Church.
- Assist Advocacy Coordinator in liaising with law experts, opinion and religious leaders, government officers, human rights agencies and the mass media to get secured legal advice.
- Assist in organizing regular meetings that bring together advocacy partners.
- Assist the Advocacy Coordinator to organize advocacy-related training in coordination with local partners in the field
- Assist to distribute advocacy-related manuals or materials related, as needed.
- Assist in preparing Project Accomplishment, Evaluation Report & Training Feedback form for each activity.
- Assist in coordinating ministry tours.
- A member of Indonesia Field Operations Team coordinates with local partners, networking and/or collaboration that will enhance operations in the target country.
- To build relationships with Training partners and various Christian contacts.
- To work closely with the ODI travel ministry coordinator in coordinating travel ministry in the base.
- To build strong relationships with the other team members in the region to share valuable resources.
