Overall Task
Assist
MRM Manager as needed in managing data collection, data cleaning, and
data analysis processes in collaboration with regional MRM staff to meet
reporting deadlines and provide evidence for the achievement of KPIs
and program target
Task, Authority, and Responsibility
- Responsible for regular data cleaning for all data in SCPP database for regions. Especially to check inaccurate, incomplete, and irrelevant data. Also ensuring free data duplication and quality data sources
- Maintains database results by setting and enforcing standards and controls.
- Keeps senior management informed by preparing reports on Cocoa Trace (web and android base application) performance and problems.
- Maintains database performance by troubleshooting problems.
- Secures database by developing policies, procedures, and controls.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Communication, Supervision, and Reporting
- Coordinate regularly with regional MRM Officer to ensure the quality of service to the program and systems management working properly;
- The Sr. Database Officer will work with MRM Manager and Senior MRM Officer in the Main Office and Regional Offices.
- Report Cocoa Trace and data entry progress and achievements to the MRM Manager.
- Support MRM Manager to actively communicate with SCPP regional and field staff regarding data collection, quality control and updates.
- Support the MRM Manager with the development and maintenance of analytical tools for Program reporting.
- Supervised by MRM Manager.
Education, knowledge and skill requirements
- Degree graduate, preferably with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering Math, Statistics or a related technology field.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in similar positions.
- Experience with MySQL and SQL Server 2012
- Experience with ASP, .NET and PHP
- Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with android apps and device and cloud-based data management is a plus;
- Work independently and assist with multiple projects, priorities, and locations.
- Work under pressure with interruptions and challenging deadlines.
- Ability to be courteous and helpful.
- Must show aptitude and desire to learn new skills on the job.
- Be able to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing.
- Work as a team member and to promote a positive work environment.
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
- Able to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in similar positions.
