highly qualified Indonesian candidates to fill the position of:
SOUTHEAST ASIA REGIONAL NTD MANAGER
The ENVISION Southeast Asia Regional NTD Manager will be
based in Jakarta, Indonesia and is responsible for providing a wide range of
support to the NTD country programs in Southeast Asia - Indonesia, Cambodia,
Laos, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
In Indonesia, the Southeast Asia Regional NTD Manager will
work closely with the Senior Resident Program Manager, the Finance and
Operations Manager, and the Ministry of Health to support and ensure effective
management of the country program. This position will work with the Senior
Resident Program Manager and Finance and Operations Manager to ensure timely
submission of technical and financial deliverables and sound management of
staff, program budgets and contractual obligations. Approximately 50% of time
will be spent on management of the Indonesia activities.
The Southeast Asia Regional NTD Manager will be the primary
liaison with senior representatives of the Governments in Cambodia, Laos, the
Philippines and Vietnam. The Regional Manager will work closely with the
ENVISION US-based team, specifically the Senior Manager, Project Manager, and
M&E Specialist responsible for Southeast Asia countries, to communicate
with national programs and USAID missions; ensure work plan activities are
successfully carried out; and report to USAID. Approximately 50% of time will
be spent on management of the Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Vietnam
activities.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in public health or other relevant
discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience implementing and
leading technical and program activities for donor-funded health programs.
Experience working with USAID or US government-funded projects required and at
least 3 years’ work experience focusing on NTD control/elimination is
preferred. Understanding and appreciation of country-led health or development
strategies and working closely with host-country governments, particularly in
Southeast Asia is required. Candidates
must also demonstrate an ability to successfully coordinate with Ministry of
Health officials, U.S. Government, donor organizations, NGOs, and other
agencies. Relevant technical experience in infectious disease, disease
surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, data management, and program
evaluation.
