Program Manager of Indonesia Regional Economic Development Program
( Code: PM-IRED) Location : Waingapu, East Sumba, NTT
Major Roles :
Indonesia Rural Economic Development Program, supported by the Australian Government, DFAT, aims to expand the successfully trialled Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) system to help farmers regenerate degraded farmlands and forests, increase yields, improve quality, enhance market access and boost income by 2016. As land is regenerated, the project will increase agricultural income generation through market facilitation of livestock, short-term annual crops, medium-term perennial crops and long-term timber products.

The program manager will ensure that the program is implemented in
accordance with the program design, quality objectives, timeframe and
budget and also leads and manages program staff and partners to ensure
that the necessary coordination, collaboration and cooperation, between
local stakeholders, inclusive of WVI is maintained and enhanced.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in management or development studies with min. 5 years experience in program and project management. Experience in managing grant program will be an advantage.
- Having min. 2 years experience in managing agricultural or forestry program
- Strong partnering and stakeholder management experience
- Able to manage a team of diverse development sector experts/specialist
- Strong leadership capability
- Fluent in English
