SMART Lab Program is a university partnership program between USAID and Yayasan
Putera Sampoerna (Putera Sampoerna Foundation – PSF), in collaboration with Intel
Indonesia Corporation, the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) and Tufts University, with the ultimate goal to improve STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) at high school level in Indonesia through establishing four STEM model schools, training and
preparing 500 STEM teachers and inspiring 6.000 students. PSF has assigned Universitas Siswa
Bangsa Internasional – Sampoerna University (SU) to manage the operationalization
of the SMART Lab Program.

pilot schools and non-pilot schools. In this training, students are provided
with understanding of 3D printing, 3D design, how to create 3D design, and how
to operate 3D printer to get 3D design printed.
The
training will be conducted in Jakarta, Malang and Batu regularly. Toward the
middle of December 2015, all selected interested students from four pilot
schools must hava been equipped with understanding of 3D printing, 3D design,
how to create 3D design, and how to operate 3D printer to get 3D design printed.
