The Position
The Communications and Promotions Manager (CPM) will be responsible for delivering an ongoing, coordinated and targeted approach to promotion. The role will support the broader program communications needs of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in Indonesia. It will also work to communicate learning from Australia Awards to key stakeholders both in Indonesia and Australia.
The Communications and Promotions Manager (CPM) will support the Australia Awards Indonesia and DFAT by communicating clear messages to existing and future stakeholders. A key component will be measuring effectiveness of communications and reporting against this for internal and external purposes. Close liaising with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager will be essential for this to occur.
The Communications and Promotions Manager (CPM) will report to the Alumni and Communications Senior Manager to ensure the communications strategy is an integral component of the broader alumni engagement strategy.
Building upon lessons learnt from DFAT's experience in managing Promotions will be a key element within the Communications and Promotions Manager's contribution to the Communications and Promotions Plan. Developing a coherent and logical allocation of promotional resources across geographic locations in Indonesia and between key stakeholders is essential.
The Person
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience in a related field of study as well as experience in developing quality promotional materials according to specification. Together with a high level proficiency in spoken, written English and Indonesian, you will have excellent planning and demonstrated presentations skills for one on one meetings and group meetings.
