About the Program:
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is a multi-year program market development program that is part of the Government of Indonesia’s midterm development strategy to accelerate poverty reduction through inclusive economic growth. With the support of the Government of Australia, the program aims to achieve a 30% increase in the net incomes of 300,000 male and female smallholder farmers in eastern Indonesia. The program aims to increase the competitiveness of market players in the agriculture sector by:
- Improving the productivity of the agricultural sector,
- Improving access to agricultural inputs and post-production markets,
- Promoting and fostering innovation, and
- Improving the local business enabling environment.

Nevertheless, environmental management is a critical element for planning how the program can and should operate.
Primary Responsibilitiesthe
Communications Manager will be responsible for communicating the
Program’s core message to all stakeholders and for providing technical
assistance to intervention staff in the preparation of terms of
reference and supervision of media companies that will be hired for
individual interventions
Minimum Education and Experience required
Master degree in communication, journalism, or public relations;
Familiarity with international donor systems and requirements, DFAT in particular;
Experience with developing videos;
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Competencies and professional expertise require
Proven experience in setting up and implementing effective communication strategies for large organisations;
Proven experience with a variety of communications channels and tools (internet, printed media, social media, public relations, advertising etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
