Job Description
The specific tasks for the short-term role will be to:
- Support the specific event through design and maintenance of all related marketing and communication requirements;
- Track media coverage, website analytics, Google, and social media analytics;
- Submit a final report to UCPRUK following the event, containing recommendations and a plan for the following year’s event;
- Design and submit a marketing, design and communications plan for the overall organization, including a marketing calendar and donor database ideas.
- Creating, maintaining and improving website content;
- Managing existing and creating new organizational social media presence;
- Creating and updating promotional material as required;
- Create and manage content for e-blasts and newsletters;
- Formatting and editing organizational documents and other items (letters, invites, stationary);
- Engage in current fundraising initiatives, providing a variety or support organizing and promoting events;
- Create and maintain a marketing calendar and a donor/supporter database;
- Formulate, market and implement a range of new activities with a mind to engaging possible local, national and international funders;
- Take and edit photos for a variety of organizational needs;
- Work closely with USA head-office on cross-promotional marketing and funding opportunities.
