ASB is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and committed individuals for the following position:

Project Assistant

Location: Yogyakarta, Indonesia (with travel to project locations)
Duration: 12 months contract (including 3 month probation period)
Start: Immediate
Vacancy: National position
Salary: ASB offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience
Closing: 7 June 2015

Summary of job profile:
This position is primarily to provide logistical and organisational support within a training and based project. The position will play a role in supporting coordination and communication with key government and non-government partners. The Project Assistant reports to the Project Manager and will coordinate closely with other project team members. The position includes both field and office based work with possible travel within Indonesia.

 Desirable qualifications:

1.    University degree in social sciences or similar. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
2.    Good administrative and organizational skills.
3.    Computer literacy and familiarity with common office programmes.
4.    Excellent communication skills.
5.    An openness to working with individuals from varied backgrounds required.
6.    Familiarity with common social media platforms an advantage.
7.    Knowledge on disaster risk reduction an advantage.
8.    Understanding of disability and inclusion an advantage.
9.    Bahasa Indonesia and English language skills.
10.  Data input experience and basic finance experience an advantage.
11.  Efficiency, flexibility, respect for diversity, creative thinking, and punctuality valued.
