POST :  Grants Manager
Requirements
  • Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in donor-funded grant-related work (with an emphasis on budgeting, accounting and financial reporting by partner organizations). 
  • At  least  five  years  of  direct  management  experience  supervising  staff,  mentoring performance, and demonstrating team-building skills. 
  • Experience with grant-related audits to meet international standards. 
  • Experience building financial management capacity of small to medium sized NGOs, training qualifications and hands-on experience are preferred.
  • Strong team player and excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Professional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia – written and spoken.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer effective grants process/cycle to ensure clear and simple procedures, maintain quality control of the overall grant cycle from pre-award review of potential grantees, financial plans and reports review of the grants closing-out and audits to ensure that they are in compliance with the MFP’s rule and regulations.  
  • Improve and facilitate capacity building for partners:  Facilitate the development and implementation of training programs for partners to improve financial management and reporting. Lead partner capacity building that includes quality financial reporting, strong supporting documentation and fraud awareness and prevention. 
  • Support the Project Assessment Committee (PAC) in making decisions on grants with the necessary documents and information, such as: Draft and published Request for Proposals or Applications, Pre-Project Assessment Committee (PAC) due diligence of proposals, Preparing documentation for PAC meetings, negotiate, develop and adjustment of associated budgets and technical proposal following on revision requests from the PAC, prepare or draft grant agreement, monitoring of budget spending and tracking milestones of grantee.
  • Provide troubleshooting and provide solutions to ensure smooth delivery and management of grants, including responding to queries from partners and grantees.  
  • Built strong relationship with the Technical Team by working  collaboratively with technical leaders, CCI Managers and other relevant advisers on performance assessments of grantees and serve as a liaison with external stakeholders on issue regarding grants for better coordination
  • In coordination with Finance Manager to oversee audits of grantees
  • Perform related work as required.
