world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and
people.
Currently we are searching for qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
1. CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
The Corporate Engagement
Manager plans, develops, supports and manages corporate philanthropy
(50%) and corporate partnerships (50%) to maximize the impact for TNC
Indonesia in alignment with the organization’s
conservation goals. The Corporate Engagement Manager is
responsible for identifying, engaging, cultivating, soliciting and
stewarding relationships with companies which could provide resources
(funding or in-kind) and/or
reduction of environmental threats through improved business practices.
S/he functions as an articulate, enthusiastic and visible ambassador for the organization.
Duties include:
1. Prospecting/New business development
Proactively
seeks out corporate partners, researching and making initial contact,
utilizing content experts to determine Y-TNC primary interest in
partnership
with a company and structuring partnership with companies to generate
new corporate relationships in improved business practices.
Create and support new initiatives, including
stakeholder/consortium events, matching gift programs, to promote
corporate partnership and long-term support.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of corporate prospects from a range of different companies
- Ensure all relevant database relating to corporate fundraising are maintained
- Work closely with internal teams to develop opportunities for corporate partners
- Develop and maintain key relationships within prospect corporate companies
- Research companies, organizations and individuals as required for corporate proposals
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to corporate clients
2. Structure and deliver corporate partnership deals
- Design and structure the documents required to conclude partnership agreements
- Negotiate new partnership contracts, ensuring they provide mutual benefit
- Build relationships in order to create networks of corporate support
- Influence corporate contacts to engage with our work
- Keep up to date on corporate agendas as well as best practice developments within the sector as relates to corporate partnerships, maintaining a strong external profile
- Attend networking events and build contacts within the business environment
3. Relationship Management Support & Stewardship
Supports
and stewards on-going business relationships or philanthropic
partnerships with corporate partners. Continually works to strengthen
the relationship
through excellent service and communications of relevant materials.
4. Coordinate risk review
Implements and manages corporate engagement standard operating procedure and policies.
Develop learning networks, trainings and resources to develop organization’s capacity and knowledge on corporate engagement.
Maintains awareness of new and emerging corporate responsibility engagement best practices, trends and technologies.
Keeps up to date
on emerging philanthropic trends in our field, and staying current on
the funding relationships of competitor organizations.
The Corporate Engagement Manager is based in Jakarta and reports to the Corporate Engagement Associate Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience in corporate engagement, or equivalent. Master’s degree may be preferred
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Outstanding written and oral communication, negotiating and organizational skills.
- Sales and relationship management skills are required.
- Experience in designing, implementing and directing multiple complex projects and ensuring program accountability.
- Communications experience including preparing and presenting project proposals, and developing written communications.
- Experience negotiating with other agencies, companies, private parties or related entities.
2.
STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT & RESOURCES MANAGER
The
Strategic Development & Resources Manager plans and executes
resources development strategies which include strategic development
& analysis, data & knowledge management
and conservation tools.
Program Development and Analysis
The
Strategic Development & Resources Manager assists in the
development and implementation/delivery of new program development
(product life cycle from concept, product development, product
improvement, and product delivery).
S/he evaluates existing products, analyzes product issues,
identifies areas of improvements and concerns and recommends corrective
actions.
S/he is the main focal point in developing and writing complex
proposals. The Strategic Development and Resources Manager keeps abreast
with latest product development tools and techniques.
S/he analyzes stakeholders’ requirements and provides optimal product development solutions.
Data and Knowledge Management
The
Strategic Development & Resources Manager
strategically develops, manages and executes an internal and external
knowledge sharing strategy, which includes developing of internal
systems, processes and tools to support knowledge
management activities. S/he manages knowledge management
within TNC Indonesia and provides knowledge product/business
intelligence services related to this to internal stakeholders (External
Affairs, Philanthropy, Programs)
and external (donors, partners). S/he generates routine progress reports and other necessary reports as required.
S/he edits, revises and rewrites reports as needed to produce
high quality, timely, results-based donor reports. S/he manages the
Centre of Conservation Excellence.
The
Strategic Development
& Resources Manager must be an expert in the systems and resources
utilized by the team; applies knowledge to providing organizational
support and designing
communications related to the resources. S/he will keep up-to-date on
market trends and best practices in order to improve services. S/he will
analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, modify processes and
practices, and implement solutions in order to improve
outcomes, experience and successful outcomes.
The
Strategic Development & Resources Manager reports to the Head of
Strategic Conservation & Development and is based in Jakarta.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience, Master’s degree may be preferred
- Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting the data.
- Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
- Experience with business process analysis and/or improvement.
- Experience with current technology in relevant field.
- A high level of knowledge and expertise in the Knowledge Management content area.
- Ability to accurately represent programmatic needs when facilitating the connections, collaboration and execution of Knowledge Management efforts with other teams across the organization as well as on strategic Knowledge Management partnerships external to the organization.
- Change management skills.
- Ability to manage and implement complex processes.
- Ability to work in partnership with others in a collaborative or advisory role on process initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge in current and evolving technology related to field of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and document new and/or improved processes and effectively communicate benefits.
- Demonstrated ability to write for various audiences and excellent presentation skills.

3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO) & PLANNING MANAGER
The PMO and Planning Manager supports the successful delivery of programs through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting
of key projects within TNC Indonesia. S/he acts as coach
to project managers and teams on the best use of project management
tools and approaches and act as the first point of contact for any
program management queries.
S/he assists in the oversight of key projects supporting the
strategic objectives of the organization and produces documentation and
coordinates/disseminates information in support of the program
management.
S/he also develops and maintains standard for planning framework
(incl. business planning and work planning). The principal
responsibilities include project management system
development/improvement, and project monitoring and evaluation as well
as planning
system development and planning process facilitation.
The
PMO and Planning Manager must be an expert in the project management
systems and resources utilized by the team; applies knowledge
to providing organizational support and designing communications
related to the resources. S/he will keep up-to-date on market trends and
best practices in order to improve services. S/he will analyze
situations, evaluate alternatives, modify processes and

Key tasks include:
- Assist and advise leaders, project managers and teams to the best use of project management and organization planning tools and approaches within a fast-paced, high tech environment
- Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management & planning process
- Maintain processes to ensure project management & planning documentation, reports and schedules are relevant, accurate and complete
- Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects
- Provide assistance to maintain and update the project management systems / manual necessary to support a PMO
- Develop positive relationships with managers and staff to enable the Strategic Conservation & Development team to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and trainings
The PMO and Planning Manager reports to Head of Strategic Conservation & Development and is based in Jakarta.
