Chemonics seeks a deputy chief of party for an anticipated USAID
environmental policy reform and advocacy project, SOROT, in Indonesia.
SOROT will support the Indonesian government on national-level policy
reform and advocacy actions to promote reduction of greenhouse gas
emissions and conservation of valuable marine and terrestrial
biodiversity. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for
making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in international donor-funded projects
- Ability to provide close oversight of day-to-day implementation, personnel management, reporting, and monitoring
- Expert in key technical areas of SOROT; technical expertise in sustainable palm oil and other extractive land use based industries strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Indonesia preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia preferred
