We are looking for a candidate for CoP for the upcoming USAID I-CHIP program
with the following requirements.
Minimum Years of
Experience: 15
Minimum Degree Required: Master's degree in economics, finance, business, international development, foreign affairs, public policy, technology, environmental science, or other related field
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and a proven record of success managing, implementing, and advising programs with a focus on policy, institutions and investment including but not limited to the following:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and a proven record of success managing, implementing, and advising programs with a focus on policy, institutions and investment including but not limited to the following:
- Experience working in South East Asia, Indonesia preferably, and understanding of Indonesia’s development challenges;
- Proven success working in developing countries and government organizations on collaborative ideation by a wide spectrum of participants from higher education, civil society and the private sector;
- Previous proven success leading USAID programs as Chief of Party or serving as project lead for a similar bilateral or multilateral institution;
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of the program including science and technology to delink palm oil production from deforestation; provide better access to workforce opportunities for poor and vulnerable populations in Indonesia; address challenges in the health sector related to infectious disease and improving maternal child health outcomes; and novel solutions to address democratic governance issues such as effective service delivery, more open and accessible government data, and protection of citizen rights.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates an extensive proven track record of success leading large and complex programs in support of development organizations including but limited to USAID, multilateral development banks, the United Nations, and/or European Union.

Demonstrates an
extensive proven track-record of success as a team leader with demonstrated
ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members, promoting a collaborative

sharing insights, knowledge and experience, and seeking diverse views to
encourage improvement and innovation.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success
overseeing open innovation competitions or collaborative ideation processes including:
- Design and implementation of competitive funding programs, including the use of challenges, prizes, and crowd sourcing;
- Design and implementation of fair, transparent, and balanced-risk application and judging processes;
- Leveraging investment and co-financing;
- Creating partnerships and working relationships with government, businesses, academia, civil society, and financial institutions.
