BACKGROUND
In
order to provide accurate and informed information on legal processes,
applicable articles from the criminal code, relevant case law and
avenues for appeal, MSI/SIAP 1 seeks the expertise of a criminal law
consultant. The consultant’s
analysis will be utilized to advise on the processes and implications
of criminal law cases.
SCOPE OF WORK:
A.
Objective:
1.
Provide on-demand
legal opinions and analysis of current developments, applicable
jurisprudence and likely long-term outcomes and implications.
B.
Activities:
1.
Sixteen (16) days for:
a.
Assessing,
researching and reviewing material as requested by the Corruption
Development Analyst, MSI/SIAP 1 staff and local partners related to
criminal
law questions over a two-month period;
b.
Providing timely written analysis; and
c.
Collaborating, as
needed, with members of the team to develop accurate infographics and
other explanatory materials for a non-technical audience.
DELIVERABLES
1)
Written research and analysis reports based on assignments from the Corruption Development Analyst, MSI/SIAP 1 or local partners
