About our organization
The World Agroforestry Centre (also known as the
International Centre for Research in Agroforestry or ICRAF) is an independent
research institution which generates science-based knowledge about the complex
role trees play in agricultural landscapes and rural livelihoods. As part of
the Centre’s work to bring tree-based solutions to bear on poverty and
environmental problems, researchers – working in close collaboration with
partners – are developing new technologies, tools and policy recommendations
for increased food security and ecosystem health.
The Centre’s headquarters are located in Nairobi,
Kenya, and research is conducted in 34 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin
America. We are supported by the Consultative Group on International
Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and receive funding from over 50 different
donors.
About the position
Under the supervision of SEA
Regional Coordinator, the Regional Office Secretary shall ensure the
effectiveness and efficient on managing the administrative function of the
Regional Office in support to the Regional Coordinator by providing Information
and Data, effectively monitoring and manage the agreement between ICRAF
Regional Office and donor communities, handling Confidentiality both data and
information in conjunction with other units involve and/or country offices
under Southeast Asia Region, improve and maintenance Protocol Procedures and
making follow up on the deadline and commitment made between the donor communities,
functional units across the SEA Regional Office.

Requirements
- Minimum bachelor degree (S1) in Economics, Forestry, Communications, Secretary, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- At least 5 years working experience as Executive Secretary, preferably in an international working experience.

- Strong computer skills in MS Office and or other program suitable to support the work.
- Participates effectively in a team-based, information-sharing environment, collaborating and cooperating with others.
