Vacancies in SurfAid : HR Officer and Media Officer
SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working towards healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. We have community based health programs in Nias, Mentawai, Bima and Sumba.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, community orientated, multi-tasking, and creative problem solver;
HR OFFICERManage and coordinate HR activities with other managers and ensure HR regulations and policies are properly implemented. The position is based in Medan with possibilities to travel to other SurfAid locations.

Minimum Qualifications;
- Bachelor degree in Law, Social Science, etc
- More than 3 years’ experience in personnel administration or Human Resources
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proven experience working in transparent and accountable manner
- Excellent in English and Bahasa Indonesia both in written or oral
- Preferably experience in capacity building/training
- Willing to travel to program SurfAid’s offices and program areas
MEDIA OFFICER Manage and coordinate media and publications activities both online and offline. Ensure SurfAid publications standards and procedures are established, regularly reviewed and properly disseminate. This position will frequently travel to SurfAid’s program sites and could be based in one of these location; Medan, or Bali, or Jakarta.

- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- More than 3 years’ experience working in media /publications/ journalism
- Excellent writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, especially in story writing
- Has stories or articles published professionally
- Preferably skillful in MS Publisher, corel draw, photoshop
- Preferably with skills in photography or videography or design graphic
- Willing to travel to program sites in remote areas with basic circumstances
