RTI International is seeking for
highly qualified candidates to fill the Regional
ITS Manager Position to be based in Jakarta (Asia Regional Office) , Indonesia
The
Regional ITS Manager will oversee and lead the development of IT needs of all
offices under the specific contract, including for organizing and execution of
all IT functions for RTI International and its projects in Asia region. This
also includes directing all IT operations to meet projects requirements as well
as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications and
development of new technical solutions.
Regional
ITS Manager is also responsible for ensuring that standards set by the RTI IT
Home Office are followed and that the most efficient and effective IT solutions
are applied.
This
position reports to the Sr. Manager, ITS Asia Region and International Support
Services for the day-to-day operations and issues related to compliance with
RTI IT guidelines, regulations and technical aspects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Networking
- Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure. This includes RTI or its project’s office start-up, shutdown and relocation
- Oversee network security at the regional level as determined by RTI ITS Security and Compliance
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the RTI IT infrastructure for RTI regional office and its projects in the region
2. Telephony
- Manage and develop upgrades to the RTI telephone system at the regional office and project offices as required
3. Internal Systems
- Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving and disaster recovery; as well as the provision of expert support when necessary
- Work with the IT team of projects, i.e. providing assistance in the implementation of Internal Systems
- Manage and support all help desk activities at the regional level
- Respond to escalated help desk issues
5. Asset Management
- Liaise and maintain an effective network of service providers
- Manage the purchase of hardware and software products for regional office
- Manage the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (or its equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or other related field.
- Minimum of 9 years progressively responsible experience in managing a wide range of IT infrastructure systems in multiple locations
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated supervisory experience preferred
- Prior experience working on global organizations with regional IT in a senior-level IT management capacity would be an added advantage
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects
- Takes initiative and is proactive in IT management and support
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Ability to manage budgets and report on implementation
- Excellent creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervisio
- A customer service oriented individual
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Tact and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
- Show willingness to keep abreast of available technology or to learn new technology; while at the same time understand applicability and limitations of technology to the work of the office
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
