Program Officer – API
Perubahan II
The Program Officer will work
closely with Program Advisory Committees (PACs) or the existing Forum Pengurangan Risiko Bencana (FPRB) Jawa
Tengah, and Sub District Working Group (SDWGs), to organize and facilitate
their activities to develop, plan, budget, and identify potential funding for
participatory climate change resilience and DRR strategies. The program officer
will be required to work with a wide range of networking with provincial,
regency, down to sub districts stakeholders spanning civil society, private
sector, local government, etc.
Qualifications:
- Have at least 3 years of work experience in Indonesia DRR and/or climate change adaptation initiatives, networking and project implementation, and documentation related to Indonesian climate change issues, and Indonesian government climate change initiatives and actors;
- Have at least 2 years’ experience working directly with local government agencies, to engage and provide advisory roles;
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
- BA/S or higher in disaster management, environmental sciences, engineering, or similar field;
- Ready to live and blend with the local government and communities by providing long-term facilitation process;
- Excellent skills on government engagement and policy advocacy;
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written is preferred;
- Strong familiarity with email communication, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel is mandatory.
This position
will be as temporary staff for 6 month.
