The Singapore International Foundation is a non-profit organisation
with a mission to build a better world through shared ideas, skills and
experiences, so as to uplift lives and create greater understanding between
Singaporeans and world communities.
As In-Country Project Manager to SIF, you will be the local resource person
for SIF and advise SIF on strategies to manage partnerships and assist with the
implementation of programmes that are aligned with SIF’s International
Volunteerism goals in Indonesia. Your areas of focus will be Specialised
Healthcare and Education in West and Central Java, Indonesia.
You will be responsible for assisting SIF in carrying out needs
assessment, scoping and planning of projects and proposals, overseeing the
project and partner management, and overseeing the project coordination and implementation
in West and Central Java. This includes:
- Representing SIF in liaising with and managing local partners, including government agencies, Indonesia-based nonprofits, social enterprises, corporates and other relevant agencies for SIF’s projects;
- Working with SIF staff and SIF specialist volunteers to scope out projects, develop and assist in the coordination and implementation of programmes in line with SIF’S Indonesia country strategy, which will be shared with you;
- Identifying and introducing key agencies and individuals who SIF may partner with to build win-win collaborations in line with SIF’s goals; and
- Being in touch with broader Singapore-Indonesia relationships to be able to identify opportunities for higher level leverage for our projects.
