URS International Development is currently preparing a team for the upcoming Program Support Facility (PSF) for the PNPM. The PNPM is the Government of Indonesia’s (GOI) flagship program for poverty reduction. In 2007, GOI launched the national scale up of the program, and requested donor support to manage and implement the expanded program. At the request of GoI, DFAT plans to establish a new MC-administered facility to support and complement the work of the PSF. The proposed value of the investment is $50 million over three years, with a two year extension subject to program performance. The MC will work with the PSF under the direction of a Joint Management Committee, chaired by Bappenas.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from proven professionals for the following position:
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist (job code 616)
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Project M&E systems for donor funded programs, preferably DFAT and hold qualifications in M&E. You will have substantial experience in the development of project M&E systems, staff training in M&E, proven ability to integrate M&E systems into government agencies, including leading a team that can analyze pilots for their effectiveness, turning pilots into programs.
You will have solid knowledge and understanding of Government of Indonesia (GoI) systems and procedures; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of M&E systems and practice, specifically relating to DFAT; have the ability to build effective teams and work with government agencies. You will be highly proficient in English and have a track record in working effectively with colleagues from varied backgrounds, including excellent interpersonal communication and report writing skills.
Previous experience working in Indonesia and knowledge of Bahasa Indonesian language skills are desirable.
