Cipta Cara Padu Foundatio Vacancy: Senior Finance Officer, Jakarta

CIPTA CARA PADU FOUNDATION (YCCP)

The Cipta Cara Padu Foundation (YCCP) in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs has expertise  and hands-on experience in a wide spectrum of health and  environmental issues including water, sanitation and hygiene, HIV &AIDS, safe motherhood, child survival, family planning (FP), reproductive health (RH), infectious disease, and environmental conservation in Indonesia.

YCCP has been actively implementing integrated strategic communications programs for social development. The programs includes behavior change, community mobilization and advocacy. In addition YCCP has also some expertise in social marketing, application of marketing techniques for programs with social benefits as well as social research implementation and results analysis for social program planning.

At the moment the YCCP is urgently in need of a “Senior Finance Officer” to be based in our Jakarta Office. Reporting to the Finance Manager the Sr. Finance Officer shall perform and support the Finance Department in its daily activities. This position is addressed for candidates with Indonesian citizenship only.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Working closely with  the YCCP Finance Manager,  the Sr. Finance Officer  will prepare monthly financial report, bank reconciliation, cash flow statement, and all applicable books as required by the organization and donors. 
  • Review day-to-day accounting records including its journal, bank & cash book, and finance vouchers submitted by Finance Officer and Finance Admin Assistant for completeness, validity, compliance with organization and donor’s regulation and file it in appropriate orders. 
  • Review monthly and yearly tax report in coordination with Finance Officer and Tax Consultant
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager, provide review and approval in procurement processes.
  • Review advance book, account payable book, account receivable book, amortization and depreciation 
  • Working closely with program staff and/or finance team in developing activity budget; 
  • Serve as point of liaison on a variety of day-to-day matters concerning finance and administration
  • Provide administrative and finance assistance with logistics (conferences, trainings, workshops and meetings), documentation of program activities when required
  •  Maintain files and records related to finance and inventory
  • Ensure financial management and administrative systems are conducted according to organization and donor regulations, standard operating procedures and good business practices;
  • Assist in audits process; and 
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Finance Manager or her designee.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor degree in accounting from reputable University
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Knowledge of USAID and other donors policies, procedures, rules and regulations would be an advantage 
  • Excellent organizational, good oral and written communication skills and ability to develop good relationships 
  • Ability to work effectively under highly demanding situations with minimum supervision. Efficient, competent and possess integrity
  • Ability to complete multiple task efficiently with attention to details
  • Ability to prioritize in  managing activities and assignments, make necessary adjustment as required
  • Experience in handling meetings/workshops with Government agencies and International donors
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player, proven record in working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals and ensure timely delivery result
  • Consistently approaches tasks and assignments energetically and with positive and constructive attitude 
  • Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexity
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point Programs. Experience with MYOB accounting software programs will be an advantage.
