Deputy Project Director
Chemonics
International, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks a
deputy project director for an anticipated $19-$23 million, five-year
USAID-funded Health Technical Assistance Project (BANTU). The purpose of the
project is to identify, recruit, hire, administer, and support qualified
individuals or organizations that will provide short or long-term technical
assistance to the Government of Indonesia, in particular to support USAID’s GHI
and CDCS strategies and health priorities. We are looking for individuals who
have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include: assist with drafting and review of project
deliverables; provide managerial and technical support to the chief of party;
assist with supervision of various short and long term consultancies; manage
M&E system; and conduct reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institutions required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience in administering complex international development programs with USAID or other donor funded projects.
- Experience in M&E systems and reporting.
- Proven capacity to manage international and Indonesian consultants.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian.
