Awards is designed to promote knowledge, education links and enduring
ties between Australia, the Asia Pacific region and the global
community. The overarching goals of Australia Awards
are to develop capacity and leadership skills so that individuals can
contribute to development in their home country; and to build people to
people links at the individual, institutional and country levels.
In Indonesia, Coffey manages the Australia Awards and is currently seeking applications for a
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager which will support the existing team in the delivery of the Australia Awards program.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager: COFF- 4252
A
key element of Australia Awards is to contribute the human resources
development needs of Government of Indonesia (GoI) agencies through the
provision of long term scholarships
and short course awards. Australia Awards works with the Government of
Indonesia (GoI) agencies at the national and provincial level to achieve
this objective. The approach to identifying and engaging with GoI
agencies (known as Key Agencies) will change under
this phase of Australia Awards.
As
the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager will work to
implement the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) strategy across the
awards cycle, embedding it in all Australia
Awards Indonesia (AAI) activities. Building on AAI engagement with GoI
counterparts the MEL Manager will work to integrate AAI activities
within GoI M&E activities.
To
support the integration of M&E activities of AAI in GoI
counterparts, the MEL Manager she provide capacity building support to
GoI agencies where needed. Supporting data collection
systems within Priority Organisations will be key to AAI to be able to
provide evidence informed advice to DFAT, SetNEG and other partners.
The
MEL Manager will work to strengthen the M&E of the English for
Academic Purposes (EAP) to ensure it delivers information to AAI and GoI
stakeholders to continuously inform selection
processes.
