COASTAL LIVELIHOOD MANAGEMENT WEBSITE BILINGUAL ENGLISH SUBTITLE

Background
The overall goal of the Restoring Coastal Livelihood project is to
enhance the livelihood security and well being vulnerable coastal communities
on the west coast of South Sulawesi. RCL undertaken with the financial support
of the government of Canada provided through the Canadian International
Development Agency (CIDA) for 5 years (2010 - 2015). It will include ecological
mangrove restoration (EMR) and sustainable use of natural resources. A special
focus will be placed on empowering women and securing their right which are
indispensable to achieving maximum development result.
As an essential part of imaging and publication activities to be
exposed, RCL create one form of media publication and information website that
is www.rcl.or.id. To support the publication
of the website, it takes experts to handle changes and updates to the website
in connection with the news which will be published.
Webmaster
will be responsible in materials updating, collecting incoming feedback
and put it for Oxfam response, provide the project with web statistic
(number of visitor, origin country of the visitor, number of downloads
by
visitor, the Month’s most-accessed part of the web, etc, as well as
monitoring
the status of the site (whether it is online or down, for the next
follow up to
web hosting company).

- Create link web in English subtitle
- Access for international public, practitioners, communities, government and other stakeholders to knowledge on social, economic and environmental resilience in regard to this project provided.
Expected Results
- Prepare media materials for Oxfam RCL database and library.
- Project website well updated on a weekly basis, or in daily one needed.
- Monthly analysis on the site statistic provided.
- In minimum one news material/story, one photo and one material in the whole sub tabs of the site updated in a week.
Requirements
The candidate must
meet criteria with the following
requirements:
- Experienced in the technical aspect of the web, including HTML, perl scripting, web form, web commerce , programming, networking and video editing.
- Experienced with electronic design tool such as photoshop, illustrator, coreldraw, and other graphic tools.
- Experienced in developing and maintaining website at least 5 year .
- Excellence editorial and communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Understand the coastal resources management, rights-based approaches, environment/coastal resources management and the dynamics of the local market in Indonesia, especially South Sulawesi.
