Background
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income
through Support for Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new
rural development program which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase
in net incomes for 1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of
which will be reached by June 2017.
The role
Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer
will support programme finances/administration by providing monthly returns,
carrying out banking transactions, managing petty cash and bank accounts,
preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts and interests, and other financial
reports for the Finance Manager.
Selection criteria:
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Officer or equivalent post.
- Experience working for large accounting firm, NGO, company or donor agency.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with accounting and non-accounting professionals.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet.
- Demonstrated ability to promote and initiate work processes and complete given assignments with minimum supervision.
- Trustworthiness, integrity, good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and be customer-satisfaction oriented.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and a good working knowledge of English.
