CALL FOR CONSULTANTS
ChildFund is an international child focused development agency
working in 33 countries to create lasting and meaningful change in the lives of
more than 10.5 million vulnerable, deprived and excluded children, families and

ChildFund has been operating for 34 years since 1973, in areas where the need
is the greatest and currently reaches out to 900,000 children and family

ChildFund Indonesia is currently looking for consultants
in the following areas:

Livelihood
to support our Grant Development Specialist in proposal
development. The consultants will focus on the proposal development while the
Grant Development Specialist will feed all the technical data.
TERMS AND
CONDITIONS:
·
This consultancy will be
based on an on-call basis depending on the RFP that ChildFund receives, but in
general it takes minimum 7 working days for a proposal development process.
·
The consultant will
perform his/her service at the office of ChildFund Indonesia in Jakarta. During
the service rendered, the consultant is required to dedicate his/her full time
for the work.
SCOPE
OF WORK
1.
Serve as a proposal writer professional,
with an ability to help transform the technical and program insights and data into
clear, compelling, winning proposals.
2.
Develop technically
sound concept notes and full blown proposals based from the identified grant opportunities that come out through RFPs, RFAs and other call for
proposals.
3.
Maintain a positive attitude and work
closely with ChildFund team to make its efforts successful.
4.
Participate in technical grant-related meetings, as required by ChildFund Indonesia, to learn best practices, information, and
problem solving with other team members.
5.
Actively collaborate with multiple
stakeholders within ChildFund Indonesia offices, as and when required.
DELIVERABLES
1.
Concept Notes and winning proposals, on call basis.
§ Minimum a 10-year experience in proposal
writing in INGO sector.
§ Excellent
writing, analytical skills are essential
§ Must possess an
ability to work well under pressure and the ability to seek and synthesize
information and communicate in a compelling and succinct form.
§
A solid understanding of budgets as they relate to
proposals and grants.
§ Cross cutting
understanding and knowledge of INGO programs.
§ Familiar with
donor requirements of USAID, AusAID, DFID
§ Highest level of
English proficiency both oral and in writing
§ Self motivated,
details oriented and highly organized
§ Excellent project
management skills
§
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all
corporate levels.
EDUCATION
§
A Bachelor Degree from a reputable university.
