Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator is responsible
for managing activities related to advising on community engagement and
community development programming. This includes the establishment and maintenance of
strong relationships and provision of technical support to key stakeholders,
including project partners, and communities in order that all project
activities are carried out in accordance with the project objectives. This work
initially will start with a high-profile visit to the factory worker
communities for key leadership in the donor’s company in mid-April. Other
projects will be developed which may include design of new community
development activities and advisory services on how factories can better engage
their workers.
This position will be as temporary staff for 6 months.
Qualifications:
- Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma and relevant 4+ years work experience in community mobilization, engagement and/or development activities;
- Experience working in partnership with corporate donors or in corporate environments a plus;
- Proficiency with MS Word and Power Point and internet/email applications;
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality reports in English and other related project documents;
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, mandatory.
