CCM Indonesia Vacancy: Communication Officer, Jakarta

The Indonesia Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) is an independent forum which oversees grants provided to Indonesia by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM). 
 
One of the four minimum functions of the CCM is to ensure that all relevant GFATM materials – policies, guidelines, tools – are available to all stakeholders in Indonesia, in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.  In addition, all information related to grant implementation and performance should be available to the public through a website, including original grant proposals, grant oversight dashboards, program updates and disbursement requests (PUDRs), and any other related information.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
 
COMMUNICATION OFFICER
 
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
 
The Communication Officer is responsible:
  • To develop a communication strategy, with inputs and technical assistance from the CCM members. 
  • To develop new communication channels for the purpose of strengthening the CCM Indonesia.
  • To design and influence a communication culture among the various CCM members.
  • To interact with CCM members and develop a communication process/ discussion forum which is efficient, sustainable and transparent for all constituencies in the CCM. 
  • To develop and publish regular newsletters on GFTAM and CCM matters. 
  • To provide relevant information to all the CCM members on the CCM processes, to maintain detail updates of the list of members, finalizing the election of civil society representatives, assist in preparing the agenda of meetings, preparing minutes and circulating them to the CCM within 48 hours of the meeting along with the CCM Secretary.
  • To assist in documenting all CCM meetings and matters related to policy concerns and formulations, problems and solutions. 
  • To design, strengthen and develop the website of the CCM. To upload and disseminate relevant and specific information, events, news, updates on the website.
  • To track and update CCM members on information related to the GFATM- maintain the website, and liaise with the CCM members on essential and relevant information/communication 
  • To create an information base for HIV, TB and Malaria related issues, with regard to the functioning of the CCM, the processes and policies and to create a filing system 
  • To assist in strengthening the communication of CCM members with relevant information for their constituencies and partners via CCM Indonesia website.
Qualification & Experience:
  • Graduate in Communication/PR/Social Sciences
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a reputed INGO / NGO 
  • Experience in drafting Reports, newsletters and Project Proposals. 
  • Experience in managing website, online tools and new media. 
  • Experience of working with the Government departments, media and NGOs. 
  • Effective organizational, writing, creative and technical communication skills. 
  • Good computer skills- Knowledge of advanced Word, Excel, and Power Point essential
Duration: Contract will be for one year.
