SurfAid International is a non-profit organization working for healthy and resilient
communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. With the head
office in Medan, the community programs are implemented in Mentawai,
Nias, Tello, pulau Banyak and Bima.
The
position is responsible for the accounting and compliance
operations of SurfAid Indonesia, to include;
- The production of periodic financial reports for SurfAid International and external donors,
- Maintenance and check of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk,
- Enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and
- Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor from Accounting and registered Accountant
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at the same level in an International NGO
- Excellent computer skills, specifically in Excel
- Familiarity with MYOB will be preferred
- Excellent English skills orally and formal report writing
- Flexible to travel to the fields
