The United Kingdom, Low Carbon Support Programme (LCS)
to the Ministry of Finance Indonesia is looking to recruit the following
consulting positions on a full time basis for approximately 14 months to 31
March 2015:
(i) Senior Communications Consultant to work
in LCS to support the Centre for Climate Change Financing in the Ministry of
Finance; and the Investment Agency of
Indonesia (PIP) to implement a comprehensive communications and outreach work
plan focused around communicating green planning and budgeting and low carbon development
issues; and
(ii) Communications Consultant to work
in the Indonesian Investment Agency (Pusat Investasi Pemerintah – PIP) to
support PIP communications and business development staff to strengthen the
institutions communications and outreach programmes particularly in relation to
low carbon and green investments.
Candidates should possess most of the following
attributes:
- Degree in journalism, communications, writing, public relations or similar (compulsory);
- Minimum experience of 6 years for the consultant and 10 years for the senior consultant (compulsory);
- Strong organizational, administrative and management skills;
- Strong skills in developing and enriching relationships with clients / stakeholders;
- Ability to mount communications campaigns in multi-media environments;
- Ability to manage traditional media relations and campaigns (newspapers, magazines, radio, TV);
- Ability to manage modern web based forms of social media relations and campaigns; and
- Ability to organize and manage communications events.
