World Vision Vacancy: Field Communications Officer, Jakarta


World Vision is one of the world’s largest international Christian humanitarian aid organizations.

World Vision Indonesia partners with local humanitarian foundation Wahana Visi Indonesia to implement its programs in more than 40 Program Offices across 9 provinces. World Vision has been working in Indonesia for more than 50 years and focusing programming effort on health, education and economic development across transformational development, humanitarian emergency affairs and advocacy ministries. We are also part of an active NGO consortium in the areas of advocacy, child protection, health, community empowerment and disaster management. 

World Vision Indonesia is currently seeking the following position :

Field Communications Officer (Code: FCO) 

Major Roles:
To promote and amplify the voices of the children and communities through gathering authentic and engaging stories and images from the communities where World Vision Indonesia and Wahana Visi Indonesia is serving.This position will also implement HEA Communications function for World Vision Indonesia during emergency and relief situations.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in communications and journalism
  • Min. 3 years experience in media, communications or journalism
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Good at writing and photography
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Willing to travel and work in the field. 
  • General experience in the production of diverse and creative communications projects, including publications, multimedia, websites/pages, photos and video reports, etc. is preferred
