Education Partnership with Indonesia
(the Education Partnership, or EP) is currently the largest intervention funded
by the Australian Government anywhere in the world. Through the Education
Partnership Australia supports the Indonesian Government’s long-term strategy
to strengthen and consolidate its national education system, with a particular
focus on the current Indonesian five-year plan (2010 – 2014) and support for
the initial stages of the subsequent five-year plan (2015 – 2019). The Education
Partnership builds on the successes of previous Australian Government supports
to the Indonesian education sector by strengthening government systems. Under
the Education Partnership, there are three managing contractors and the
largest, School Systems and Quality (SSQ) contract, is managed by Cardno. SSQ
covers three components, each relating to a different aspect of the Education
Partnership.
Each of the SSQ-supported components is national in scope,
supporting existing government structures. Component 1 focuses on strengthening
systems for infrastructure development within the education sector —
specifically, supporting MoEC to assure construction quality of new junior
secondary schools.
As part of the Education Partnership funded by Australia, the Ministry of Education and Culture
(MoEC) supported by SSQ is in the process of building up to 2,000 schools in Indonesia. The
construction is community based, and each year MoEC organise trainings to the
school committees and to the field consultants hired by MoEC to support these
committees. In order to strengthen the training, SSQ is producing an animation
construction video to capture the good practices and main lessons of school
construction.
The video should target primarily the field engineers who
are hired by MoEC through the Construction Management Consultant Companies
(CMC) and should aim to raise their technical knowledge and awareness on
critical issues faced by Australian-funded schools.
In order to develop this video, SSQ is looking for an Animation
Video Maker who could develop the 3-D animations needed in the construction
video and edit various animations, video footage with sound and photos and
