The Indonesia-Australia Forest Carbon Partnership (IAFCP) Facility,
funded by Australian Aid and managed by IDSS Pty Ltd on behalf of the
Australian Government, seeks applications from qualified Indonesian nationals
for the following Kapuas (Central Kalimantan) based position:
Safeguards Officer (1
position)
This full time position is responsible
for assisting the implementation and
application of safeguards in KFCP, at village level; facilitating knowledge
transfer to local government; and maintaining the KFCP grievance database. KFCP
operational safeguards framework consist of 9 principles (governance, social,
and environmental). Besides of its principles application into the project, the
safeguards activities have been spread in 3 outputs: (1) Emission
Reduction Demonstration 3.2, (2) Benefit Sharing Demonstration 2.1 and 2.2.
