Chemonics International seeks a Grants Manager to be located in
Jakarta for the USAID-funded Indonesia Marine and Climate Support
(IMACS) project. This project provides technical support for improving
key marine and fisheries sector components with the Ministry of Marine
Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF), local governments, coastal communities,
and the private sector.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for overseeing the management of all grants awarded by the
IMACS project and ensuring that they are in compliance with USAID
regulations, the IMACS contract signed by USAID and Chemonics, and
Chemonics policies
In cooperation with USAID, the Grants Manager will (1) establish
eligibility of potential grantees, (2) support the selection panel in
the awarding of grants in a timely fashion, (3) oversee the effective
and timely implementation of the grants program, including but not
limited to solicitation, award, monitoring and closeout of grants, and
(4) ensure that all grant activities and their results are properly
reported in accordance with the grant agreements, the IMACS contract,
work plan and performance management plan.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred
Grants experience on former USAID projects is preferred
At least 7 years of experience in a role relevant to the work listed above
Fluency speaking and writing in English
