About
The Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (YCSRR) is a non-governmental organization comprised of young people (ages 15-29 years) who promote the sexual and reproductive (SRR) rights of young people at the international and regional levels. The Youth Coalition’s mission is to ensure that the sexual and reproductive rights of all young people are respected, guaranteed and promoted, and to secure the meaningful participation of young people in decision-making that affects their lives. We do so by advocating, generating knowledge, sharing information, building partnerships and training young advocates. The YCSRR head office is based in Ottawa, Canada and a satellite office will be open in Jakarta, Indonesia. The LAFO will work with Executive Coordinator whom based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Job Description
Finance Management
• Financial operations, including:
-Processing cheque requests for YCSRR expenses
-Administrating payroll for YCSRR employees
- Maintaining financial log of expenses, deposits and transfers into Quick Books accounting software
-Liaise and communicate with Bank officer who manage YCSRR bank account along with managing online banking system of the organization account
• Maintain accurate records of expenses for YCSRR activities
• Create, analyze and present YCSRR funding activity report
• Assist Executive Coordinator during annual financial audits
Administrative
Oversee non-technical needs of the organization and the Secretariat
Inventory and ordering office supplies
Maintain filing and resource collection systems
Perform any other general office duties as required
Administrative sections of the membership committees work - developing templates for new members welcome letters, following up with external facilitators for events and AGM logistics, and coordinate screener questions for people inquiring about membership
Maintain online workspaces for membership
Update alumni’s bio s and website together with the Programme and Communication Officer
Logistics
• Coordinate all visa processes, transportation, venue, materials, accommodation, daily subsidies and reimbursements for workshops, meetings and other activities internationally
• Develop and oversee projects budgets in the lead up to, during and following events.
• Inform and discuss logistical information with the Executive Coordinator for YCSRR activities.
• Liaise with travel agencies and other travel-related partners;
• Act as the lead for all logistical arrangements for the organization.
Programmatic
• Coordinating the activities of task forces as the need arises
• Liaise with partner organizations, as need arises, for coordination of administrative or logistical tasks
• Contribute to the thematic work of the organization
Required Competencies and Qualifications
Solid experience on financial management including managing and disbursing grants, keeping journal ledger, making financial report, projecting cash flow, assisting audit preparation process and expertise in using Quickbook 2012 programme;
Familiarity with Podio (online workspace system);
English proficiency-
Familiarity with legal, tax and financial system of non profit organization ;
Strong skill in arranging travel flight, accommodation and visa making process;
Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a cross cultural setting;
Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work outside regular business hours when necessary;
Knowledge of sexual and reproductive rights, youth participation, human rights and a gender approach is consider as asset;
YCSRR support the application from young women, living with HIV and AIDS, indigenous community and other marginalize community.
Salary and Benefit Package
Successful candidate will be entitle to international salary scale, ranging from 18,000 USD- 28,000 USD/year commensurate with experience. In addition, an interesting insurance scheme to cover dental, optic and health insurance will be given along with a fitness and wellbeing benefit.
