British Council Vacancy: APTIS Sales Manager, Jakarta

APTIS Sales Manager 1 (one) position - 1 year contract renewable - Jakarta To market a range of examination products and services to customers and clients and meet agreed business targets. In doing so, to grow the market and build strong mutually beneficial relationships for the British Council.

The post will also be expected to make a significant impact on the British Council’s market research in Indonesia. 

Key duties of this post include:
  • To build and develop exams business and operations in Indonesia to achieve challenging target
  •  To assist in designing and developing insightful, creative and effective marketing strategies
  • To develop and implement marketing plans for specific products and/or regions
  • To track, analyse, summarise and report  results of marketing initiatives and progress on a monthly basis
  • To design and support external and internal communications programs by developing materials and presentations as and when required
  • To gather and analyse relevant market information for the purpose of accurate and confident decision-making in determining market opportunities and trends, market penetration strategy, and market development metrics
  • To build and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with channel partners; implementation of the partnership programme for clients 
  • Conduct sales calls with senior stakeholders in education and corporate sector
  • Deliver effective promotional strategies to grow exams business in Indonesia.
  • Complete revenue records for exams business and assist local colleagues on quarterly reconciliation
  • Complete payment and procurement process to Internal Standards
  • Manage, plan and forecast budget for sales and marketing activities
  • Process all payments through SAP and complete the agreed roles on SAP
  • Provide knowledge and give consultation to all external partners for exams operations
  • Regularly contact all partners and potential clients with product updates
  • Responsible for managing and updating the web pages whenever necessary
  • To co-ordinate and collate registration information and act as first point of contact with clients
  • To update and manage a customer database that provides up to date information on status of the partnership programme
  • Delivery of exams as per corporate standards and those set by the Board
  • Support to operational management – checking and signing of Test report forms, ensuring security of material, completion of logs etc.
  • To work on specific projects for development of examination services across the region
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
  • Ability to conduct high level research and to present data effectively and compellingly.
  • Experience in delivering high impact projects.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Indonesian. 
  • High level of competency in the use of MS Office. 
  • Ability to engage convincingly at the highest levels. 
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in an influential position working to develop international collaboration in Examinations.
