Save the Children International Vacancy: Human Resource Officer - Recruitment & Training Development, based in Jakarta

Save the Children is an international non-profit organization that focuses on the fulfillment of children’s right. Save the Children was first established in May 1919 in the U.K. and to date has 28 Save the Children Offices and operations in more than 120 countries worldwide. In 1976, Save the Children signed an MoU with the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, followed then by the operations of Save the Children throughout Indonesia. Currently, Save the Children work in 11 provinces with a variety of program areas, such as: Education, Health and Sanitation, Livelihood, Child Protection also Disaster Risk Reduction.

Save the Children is committed in conducting its programs in a way that is safe for children beneficiaries and to help protect children with whom Save the Children in a relationship. As a humanitarian organization, Save the Children is obliged to create and maintain an environment to prevent any sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children as well as to promote the implementation of child safety policies.

Now we are looking for a position of :


HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER – Recruitment & Training Development (code: HRO-RTD), 1 position, based in Jakarta

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Recruitment Management
·        Ensure effective recruitment process done properly
·        Prepare employment agreement for all SCI employees in line with prevailing law and regulation.
·        Properly record the recruitment process in soft/hard copy

2.Training Development Management
·        In coordination with HR manager, develop the organisation wide human resource development plan as well as support programme managers in the development of HRD plans and advise on appropriate approaches to implement the plans and develop systems to support regular programme wide human resource analysis (employee profiles etc.)
·        Support HR Manager in developing appropriate tools to assess employee development needs, support the implementation of a programme wide participatory needs assessment and also create learning and sharing environment within organisation
·        Update HR information regarding training and development
·        Facilitate delivery of specific HR training workshops, events and courses and to collect information and disseminate as required by HR Manager regarding training and development for the employee
·        In coordination with HR Manager, ensure that the Induction Program & Child Safe Guarding Policy is well implemented in the country office and all field offices based on SCI regulation
·        Ensure that all documentation related to training and development is well filed in softcopy and/or hardcopy.

3.Others
·        Support employees with line management responsibility in the implementation of the SCI performance management system
·        Maintain the good relationship with third party (training provider, consultant etc) and assure that all agreement with them is in line with prevailing SCI regulation.
·        Maintain the completeness of the employee database, in soft/hard copy


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential
·        at least 3 years experience in recruitment and training development
·        having presentation skill
·        proven administration and record keeping ability and attention to detail
·        good understanding about labor law
·        ability to work with people from different backgrounds
·        excellent computer literacy
·        dynamic and willing to help
·        good personality
·        good team work player

Desirable

  *  knowledge in general human resource management
  *  experience in human resource information system
