Finance and Procurement Manager
AusAID funded Performance Oversight and Monitoring (POM) of Australia’s Education Partnership with Indonesia
 
GRM International has been appointed as the Performance Oversight and Monitoring contractor (POM) for the Australia Education Partnership (EP) with Indonesia, Australia’s largest bilateral aid program to date. 
 
POM is hiring a Finance and Procurement Manager who will oversee a range of finance, procurement and associated administrative activities related to the successful implementation of the POM. The role involves ensuring sound financial management, monitoring and reporting of POM’s budget and cashflow and shall be responsible for the effective coordination of procurements including impeccable tendering procedures and contract management. The Finance and Procurement Manager oversees administration of the POM’s office facilities, as well as having responsibility for other finance functions of the project such as payroll, and logistical support to personnel for field visits such as travel arrangements. In addition, s/he will assist the Operations Manager in monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the POM’s financial operations, internal controls, and risk assessment system
 
The successful candidate for the position will have the following qualifications and experiences:
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of finance and procurement, preferably in international donor-funded projects 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in finance and accounting, in particular with Accounting Excel spreadsheets, petty cash management, cashflow, forecasting and negotiation. 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in logistics and procurement. 
  • Thorough understanding of IT systems 
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and initiate work processes and complete given assignments with minimum supervision. 
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and a good working knowledge of English. 
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet.
  • Trust worthiness, integrity, good analytical thinking and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a team and be customer-satisfaction oriented.
