Administration and Logistics Assistant
Based in Jakarta

SNV is currently establishing a presence in Indonesia and now seeking a highly qualified national candidate to fill in the position of Administration and Logistics Assistant to be based in our Jakarta Office.
                                                                                                                                                        
Responsibilities:
 
1.    Administration
a.     Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Country Director Indonesia
b.    Assist in preparation of meetings and workshops
c.     Assist in processing visas for international staff
d.    Filing of documents in accordance with SNV Indonesia project management guidelines
e.    Arrange document translation and interpreters as required
2.    Logistics
a.     Procurement of goods and services
b.    Prepare tender process and selection of vendors (if applicable) for routine purchase of goods and services such hotels, travel agents, stationary, etc.,
c.     Manage travel bookings for all staff
d.    Keep records of office inventory and furniture
e.    Ensure necessary office stationary and supplies are available.
f.      Manage the use of SNV vehicles
3.    Manage petty cash fund and petty cash register
4.    Supervise support staff (Office Assistant, Driver, Courier)
 
Candidate profile
      3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Administration and Logistics function or similar
      Strong interpersonal skills
      Ability to maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
      Good negotiation and coordination skills.
      Self-motivated and organized
      Ability to work independently and with the team
      Willingness to work a flexible schedule
      Initiative and creative in solving problems
      Honest
      Good command of spoken and written English, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
 
Contract Duration:  A one-year contract with possibility of extension will be offered.
